About The Artist

​As American landscape painter, Erin works in both her studio and en plein air (in the open air). She has found that painting on location brings a unique vibrancy and life to her work that can not be duplicated from photographs. Inspired by the ever changing seasons and exploration of the world around her, many of her pieces come from on-location sessions from her travels. Erin loves the challenge of capturing on canvas the uniqueness of each place and capturing a snapshot from a moment in time.

"Each piece is a little moment- I remember the weather, the smells, the sights, the sounds. I try to bring my viewer into that moment with me. I love the contrast of textures in the landscape and the change in seasons and light with each new day. I hope I can bring that moment into each collector's home so they can remind themselves of their own moment."

When not painting on location, Erin enjoys hiking, photography, and finding that perfect cup of coffee.
